#ElectionResults: Tinubu Continues To Dominate Oyo

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), continues to dominate the majority of the votes in Oyo State.

His closest rivals judging by the outcome of the votes are Labour Party’s Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

In Ogbomoso North local government, APC polled 14,336 votes to defeat Labour Party (LP) with 7,061 and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 5,805, his closest challengers.

In Olorunsogo LGA, APC polled 5178 to defeat LP, which had 568, and the PDP with 3492 votes. 

In Saki West, APC had 21,040 to defeat LP (2950) and (5080). 

In Surulere local government, APC polled 11,153 as against that of PDP, which had  8,192, and LP, which got 3,343.

In Iresaadu Ward 5, Unit 1, some miscreants ganged up against the presiding officer, a corps member and tampered with the results sheets, but the prompt uploading of the results on the INEC portal, prevented any information shortage as briefed by the local government's returning officer.

In other results, PDP got 8,534 to line above LP, which had  2,971 but below APC, which had 19,124 votes in Ibadan North East Local government. 

At exactly 11:06 pm, the collation was suspended and resumes today at 8 am.
