#electionresults2023: Peter Obi Wins In Imo

Labour Party took the majority of the votes in the presidential election held on Saturday, February 25 in Imo State, with its flag bearer Peter Obi, dominating APC's Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar of PDP.

As revealed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Obi polled 352,904 votes while Tinubu got 66,171 votes in second place.

Coming in the third position is Atiku with 30,044 votes as Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) was left with 1,536 votes.

The data shows that Imo State had 2,125,446 voters and 476,730 accredited voters.

The total votes stand at 459,261, with rejected votes of 10,424, while the total votes cast is 469,685.
