Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) seems to be in the lead as he has garnered the most votes in Oyo State in the presidential election.
In the results revealed by the collation officer, Prof. Olusola Babatunde on Monday, Tinubu got 449,884 votes to become the state's winner.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, came in second, polling 182,977 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party got 99,110.
New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso garnered 4,095 votes, earning him the fourth position.
It was disclosed that a total of 851,956 were cast. 809,485 votes were valid while 42,471 were rejected.
According to the results, all 33 local government areas of the state participated in the election.
