Elections: Soldiers Nab Thugs In Ogun

Personnel of the Nigerian Army have arrested suspected political thugs in Ogun State.

Information has it that they were nabbed on their way to some polling units in parts of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

They were reportedly intercepted at the rustic Sapon area of Abeokuta-South.

Speaking anonymously, a soldier in the arresting party revealed that four persons bearing dangerous weapons were arrested.

“We arrested four people with guns and knives.

"What are they doing with the guns and knives at the polling unit?

“If they escape from the police, they cannot escape from soldiers. We will catch them.”
