Grammy award-winning rapper Eminem has tendered an apology to Rihanna for “siding” her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, who disrespectfully assaulted her in 2009.
He made the apology in his song titled ‘Zeus’ on his surprise album released on Friday where he apologised "to Rihanna for that song that leaked/I’m sorry, Rih, it wasn’t meant to cause you grief.”
The rapper has referred to a decade-old song that leaked in 2019, where he said “of course I side with Chris Brown”.
He admitted the original lyric “was wrong of him”.
The two award-winning artists Eminem and Rihanna have collaborated a couple of times, including on 2010’s US number-one single ‘Love the Way You Lie’, and on her 2012 album ‘Unapologetic.’
In other news, Eminem's clapping back at Snoop Dogg in a new song after Snoop left him off his top 10 rappers list.
Em raps, "And as far as squashin' beef, I'm used to people knockin' me. But, just not in my camp. I'm diplomatic, 'cause I'm tryna be. Last thing I need is Snoop doggin' me. Man, dog, you was like a damn God to me. Man, not really. I had dog backward."
