Emir of Kano lauds new book on Hausa history

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, praised Professor Sa’idu Muhd Gusau’s book, 'Dauloli A Kasar Hausa', as an invaluable account of Hausa history.

This was contained in statement by the Press Secretary to the Emir, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa on Sunday.

According to the Emir, the book serves as a valuable resource for both learners and scholars, offering valuable insights into the importance of the Hausa ethnic groups while also promoting unity and peaceful coexistence.

He encouraged lecturers and students to freely explore the book, urging them to familiarize themselves with its contents.

During the event, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, expressed gratitude to the author for his significant contribution to promoting cultural awareness and values.

Professor Sa’idu Muhd Gusau, the author of the book, explained that his motivation to write was to make the masses aware of the Hausa people, their culture, religion, and their relationships with other ethnic groups.
