Empower Youths To Fight Insecurity In Nigeria — Monarch To

Olowu Kuta, the Oba Adekunle Makama Oyelude has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to empower the youths as a means to curb insecurity plaguing Nigeria.

Oba Oyelude have the advice during an interview with journalists in Kuta on Sunday.

“In order to fight the insecurity in the country, the Federal Government must empower the youths.

"The insurgents and terrorist don’t recruit from heaven. They recruit from our jobless youthful population.

“Federal Government should provide social security. 

"If you don’t have a good job, Government should provide a means of giving stipends until when you get a good job. That’s what they benefit abroad.

"That’s why most of the able-bodied youths are going abroad in droves. They enjoy social investments in those areas."

The traditional ruler who used the avenue to congratulate President Tinubu also reiterated being a goal-getter, saying that he believes the President will fulfill his campaign promises to Nigerians.

“President Tinubu is a goal-getter. He’s mentally equipped for the job, he has the knack of sighting brilliant brains.

"He should look for these people so they can help him deliver on his mandate.

“Empowerment of the youths should be one of the sector. Tinubu should provide first, real pragmatic youths empowerment that will have direct bearing on the beneficiaries.

“And I strongly believe that Asiwaju’s administration can provide the youths with that kind of empowerment," he emphasised.
