In the wake of the ongoing #EndSars protest across the country, YBNL Princess, Temmie Ovwasa says women and queer people go through worse treatments from operatives of the Special Anto-Robbery Squad (SARS).
AllNews reports that top personalities and other citizens in the country have over time called for an end to the anti-robbery squad, as a result of the incessant killing of youths.
After several allegations which include extortion and killings, many Nigerians are demanding a total ban of their operation, after previous efforts by the government to reform and reorganize the unit.
Nationwide protests across major cities in Nigeria were a culmination of weeks of anger and outcry online by the country's young people over claims of harassment and extortion by SARS.
Also joining in the protest, Ovwasa took to her Instagram page where she shared some photos, with a caption explaining that queer people and women "go through fire".
