The Nigeran Army has revealed that it is unhappy with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for saying that He didn't invite the military to to Lekki tollgate on the evening of October 20, 2020, when soldiers shot at peaceful protesters.
Stating this on Saturday while appearing before the Lagos State Judicial panel of inquiry, Brig. Gen. Ahmed Taiwo the commander of 81 Military Intelligence Brigade, in Victoria Island said that the move by Sanwo-Olu to invite the military was the best decision.

Justifying the invitation of the Nigerian Army by Sanwo-Olu, Taiwo said the protest had plunged Lagos into a state of anarchy.
He further revealed that the military was not happy that Sanwo-Olu said two people died from the military engagement at the tollgate.
He said, “I spoke with the governor and said the Army was unhappy that he said he did not ask for Army’s intervention but I am sure that after you watched everything (video footages), you saw he had more than enough grounds to ask for Army’s intervention; perhaps it was the way everything went.”
it will be recalled that AllNews reported how Sanwo-Olu denied inviting the military to disperse the #ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate.
