#EndSARS: 'Buhari Is The Problem, Not The Solution To Police Brutality'

President Muhammadu Buhari is the problem and not the solution to the agitation in Nigeria says Reno Omokri.

AllNews reports that Omokri, a former presidential aide, accused Buhari of not planning to reform the Nigeria Police.

Recall that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, disbanded the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS and promised to reform the unit.

Adamu, on Tuesday, set up a new tactical unit called  Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

Omokri, however, stated that President Buhari who is allegedly sending the military to beat peaceful protesters can’t reform the Nigerian Police.

The former presidential aide in a post on his Twitter account wrote, “If the head is rotten, it will only contaminate the body. How can you expect General @MBuhari, who sent soldiers to beat peaceful protesters, to reform @PoliceNG. Can satan reform demons? Buhari is the problem, not the solution#ENDSARS #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria #SARSMUSTEND”.

Omokri was an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
