#EndSars: Buhari, Osinbajo's Daughters Join In Protest

President Muhammadu Buhari's daughter, Zahra and Vice president Yemi Osinbajo's daughter, Kiki  have both joined in outcries against the brutality meted out on youths by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

AllNews reports that top personalities and other citizens in the country have over time called for an end to the anti-robbery squad, as a result of the incessant killing of youths.

Also joining in online protests, Kiki and Zahra,  on their social media pages lent their voices to a call for the scrap of the anti-robbery squad.

On her part, Zahra wrote “#EndPoliceBrutality

Meanwhile, Nigerian youths took to the streets in large numbers this week to protest against SARS.

#EndSARS has been the top hashtag worldwide in the last 24 hours, as protestors continue to demand SARS is disbanded.

After several allegations which include extortion and killings, many Nigerians are demanding a total ban of their operation, after previous efforts by the government to reform and reorganize the unit.

Nationwide protests across major cities in Nigeria were a culmination of weeks of anger and outcry online by the country's young people over claims of harassment and extortion by SARS.
