#EndSars: Burna Boy Explains Reasons For Physical Absence In Protests

Afrofusion star, Burna Boy says his mother Bose Ogulu's state of health has hindered him from joining the ongoing physical protests against the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

AllNews reports that Burna Boy who has over time lent his voice in the ongoing protest revealed on Twitter that his mother went through a surgery and he has to make sure she recovers.

While replying to fans who requested that he joins the Port-Harcourt protest and set up billboards at the Rivers state capital, just like he did in Lagos, the self-proclaimed African Giant said “Probably my BIGGEST frustration atm. But I have to stay here and make sure my mum recovers fully from her surgery. I dey wit una FULLY! …Pls Dm @protectng2020 if you can volunteer to help at the ph protest #SARSMUSTEND“

In another tweet, the singer said "I was Dealing with a Personal Family issue at the Beginning of these Protests . My mum Had Serious Surgery last week! We were all invested in making sure she recovers! i am not about that “put it all out on social media” life.We decided the focus must solely be on this protest."

Tweeting further, he urged the youth to maintain harmony and fight together towards ending SARS brutality.
