#EndSARS: Chelsea Star Joins Protest

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has spoken out against the oppression faced by Nigerians on an everyday basis, supporting #EndSARS.

Rudiger although representing Germany at international level has a Sierra Leonean mother.

AllNews reports that people in Nigeria are protesting against SARS, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a police unit aimed at preventing theft.

SARS is accused of violation of human rights, with video evidence proving that its personnel routinely engage in murders, beatings, rape and torture.

And Nigerian football fans are trying to appeal to the international community in order to make their voices heard.

Chelsea supporters from Nigeria and from all over the world have pledged to publicly condemn SARS and police oppression.

Tammy Abraham, another Chelsea player has also joined the fight.
