#EndSARS: Gov. Sanwo-Olu Lists Names Of Police Officers Invo

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has disclosed the identities of police officers who allegedly shot an #EndSARS protester to death in Surulere area of the state.

AllNews reported that a 55-year old man, identified as Ikechukwu Iloamauzor, lost his life after he was hit by a stray bullet during Tuesday’s protest.

According to Sanwo-Olu, four officers involved with the incident have been arrested. He identified them to be Inspector Bagou Michael, Inspector Ekpoudom Etop, Sergeant Nnamdi Madura and Sergeant Akinyemi Benson.

The Governor noted that a panel that will look into all cases of brutality have been set up and also a 200m compensation fund have been set aside for victims.

He said, “Also, to mention that Lagos state is taking the issue of police misconduct very seriously, earlier this week, we all recall the incident that happened at the Area C command in Surulere.
