The Twitter account of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has been hacked, with hackers threatening to expose some of the Federal Government's activities.
NBC is a parastatal of the Federal Government of Nigeria established to regulate and control the broadcasting industry in Nigeria.
In a series of tweets on the Twitter page, the hackers who claimed to also be protesting against inhumane activities of the police identified themselves as "anonymous" who are on a move to expose the government's secrets.
“We #Anonymous are out to expose government’s secret and dirty files”, it read.
We #Anonymous have taken over all the NG Official Twitter's Account to support #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY.
WE'RE TOGETHER WITH NIGERIANS.

“Put an #ENDTOPOLICEBRUTALITY #Twitterdown #NBChacked”, the message added.
The hackers did not end there, as they also asked Twitter users about other government's websites or Twitter accounts that they want to be hacked.
Good morning, great Nigerians. TGIF and it's also a good day to #ENDSARS and #EndSWAT
