Rapper and Lawyer, Folarin Falana ‘Falz’ has vowed to do everything in his power to get justice for victims of police brutality especially the lives that were lost with the use of military force during the protest at Lekki.
AllNews earlier reported that Falz was among celebrities who led the #EndSARS protest in Lekki, Lagos during the first week it started.
In a video via his Twitter account, the rapper expressed his delight in the energy, sense, unity and resilient spirit that the protesters have built in the course of the fight against police brutality.
He added that he would follow every step taken by the panel that was set up to look into cases of police brutality and make sure that everything that needs to be done in terms of legal representation for all the victims is put in place.

Falz said, “Last few weeks have been rough, last few weeks have been tough. But I’m back up, I’m back up. Nobody is ever gonna break my spirit, it’s not possible. Nobody, I’m never gonna allow anyone break my spirit. I’m back up. I’m gingered.
“I mean this was never a sprint. You know, I think we always knew this was a marathon. And what is most exciting about this is what we’ve built. There’s energy, there’s a sense, there’s a resilient spirit that we’ve built. There’s unity, there’s oneness and everyone is together in this fight.
“And we know that it’s gonna continue going for a while, but we’re ready. It’s really unfortunate we lost a lot of soldiers. It’s been a tough past two weeks. In fact, you know everyone that has fallen as a result of police brutality, as a result of the gruesome act of the military that we saw last week.
“But the least we could do is to make sure that they get justice, that’s the least we could do.
“I swear on my life, I would do everything within my power to make sure justice is served. I know I said I’m not gonna be on the panel, but I will follow every step of the way. In fact, I’d be as good as on that panel, make sure that everything that needs to be done in terms of legal representation for all the victims is in place.
“We need to make sure. I cannot stress this enough, we need to make sure that justice is served. It’s the least that we owe the soldier that we’ve lost.”
We will never stop! We are wide awake now. I am 100% committed to making sure we get justice for the brave ones we have lost ??❤️ pic.twitter.com/ELwnItZWx6
