Mr Macaroni
As Mr Macaroni and a multitude of concerned Nigerians gathered at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos on Friday to mark the third anniversary of the shootings that occurred during the #EndSARS protests on October 20, 2020, the activist issued a strong caution.
Through his social media account, Mr Macaroni admonished fellow protesters not to obstruct roads or cause disturbances that might inconvenience other Nigerians going about their daily activities.
He underscored that the event is intended as a peaceful walk to honour those who lost their lives due to police brutality and should not be exploited for political purposes.
“There are no buses at Oriental again so no one needs to gather around the bus stop. Please join the walk from anywhere you can. And if you can’t, just say a word of prayer for all those who have lost their lives to police brutality.
“Again, this is a peaceful walk to honour all those who have fallen. There should be no blocking of roads or any form of disturbance to other Nigerians going about their daily activities.
“Please do not dishonour all those who have died by making this peaceful walk about political differences.. The #EndSARS movement is bigger than any one of us. We walk, say our prayers and go back home. God bless everyone,” he tweeted.

On Thursday, Mr. Macaroni, along with Falz, another prominent activist, shared a flyer on their social media platforms outlining the event's schedule. The flyer indicated that the walk would begin at 10 a.m.
Mr Macaroni, via Instagram, emphasized that the peaceful walk aims to honour not only those affected on October 20, 2020, but all victims of police brutality in Nigeria.
