Nigerian actor and comedian Mr. Macaroni has preached against brutality meted out on youths by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in his new comedy skit.
After several allegations which include extortion and killings, many Nigerians are demanding a total ban of SARS, after previous efforts by the government to reform and reorganize the unit.
Nationwide protests across major cities in Nigeria were a culmination of weeks of anger and outcry online by the country's young people over claims of harassment and extortion by SARS.
Mr Macaroni, in the comedy skit, lost his son to brutality by SARS operatives, while stating that the same situation could happen to anyone else.
Meanwhile. he earlier led an overnight protest which saw the protesters at the premises of the state house of assembly, requesting to meet the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
