Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade better known as Mr. Eazi says that old political officer holders who are lending their voices to the #EndSars protests are parts of Nigeria's problems.
Mr Eazi's comment is coming in the wake of outcries across Nigeria, after #EndSars protesters at the Lekki tollgate, Lagos came under heavy gunfire.
AllNews earlier reported that the protesters at the Lekki tollgate came under heavy gunfire, shortly after the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced a 24-hour curfew, due to perceived violence.
Many were injured as many fled for their lives upon the gunfire, after soldiers arrived at the protest ground around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 20.
Several Nigerians including politicians have come out to condemn the killings, but Mr. Eazi believes that if the old political office holders never engaged in corruption, Nigeria would not find itself in the current situation.
According to him, many of them coming out to speak against the shootings act like they are righteous but are part of the problems.
"Guys pls don’t get it twisted all these old Governors & Government people coming out to speak like them righteous are all part of the problem!! They started this!! They might have not killed us with Gun but they killed us for years with corruption," he tweeted.
