#EndSARS: Runtown, Falz Begin Protest In Lagos

Nigerian top music acts, Falz and Runtown, have taken to the streets of Lagos to begin their protest against the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) as scheduled.

The singers convened at the Lekki toll gate, alongside popular influencers and other Nigerians to express their displeasure over the brutality and unprofessionalism of SARS officials and also to call for the disbandment of the unit division.

Recall that top personalities and other citizens in the country have over time called for an end to the anti-robbery squad, as a result of the incessant killing of youths.

Over the weekend, celebrities took to their social media pages to call for an end to the squad with several hashtags such as #EndSars, #EndSarspermanentlyNow, etc.

The protest began after a video where SARS operatives allegedly gunned down a man in Delta State.
