#EndSARS: Sowore Accuses Defense HQ Of Plotting To Assassinate Him

Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the #RevolutionNow movement and the publisher of Sahara Reporters has accused the Nigerian Defense Headquarters of plotting to assassinate him.

Sowore, who took to his Twitter page to make these strong allegations, revealed that the Nigerian Defense Headquarters has placed a 24-hour bounty for his arrest or murder.

Sowore, who further revealed that the plot against him has been on for weeks, warned that his arrest or murder cannot affect the struggle for freedom.

"#RevolutionNow Info reaching me now is that a signal from DIA has put a bounty on my head, that I must be arrested or murdered as they claim I’d resist arrest in the next 24hrs! This is from the Defence HQ here is Abuja! Be it known that this can’t affect the struggle for freedom.

"The plot against me has been on for weeks now, and I’ve been aware until the signal sent to security agencies leaked tonight. The is a businessman linked with the @mbuhari  regime who’s threatened me for weeks unending since #endsars started," Sowore tweeted.

It will be recalled that Sowore had, over the weekend, called for a resumption of the #EndSARS protest following the recent clampdown on #EndSARS protesters by the Federal Government.
