#EndSars: 'We Will Not Be Silenced,' Tiwa Savage, Others Rea

Nigerian afrobeat star, Tiwa Savage, and other celebrated have reiterated that they would not relent in #EndSars movement.

AllNews reports that this comes after hoodlums alleged to be sponsored, arrived at the protest on Thursday morning, attacking peaceful #EndSars protest in Alausa, Ikeja area of Lagos.

The hoodlums who were said to have arrived in a government bus, charged at the protesters, brandishing weapons to disperse them.

Reacting, Tiwa and others took to their Twitter pages to kick against the actions of the protesters while stressing that the protests will not end until the demands of the people are met.

Tiwa wrote "I’m hearing these thugs are being sponsored. We will not be silenced. EVEN THOUGH THE SAFETY OF PROTESTORS IS PARAMOUNT. WE WILL NOT STOP"

In another tweet, she wrote "Close colleagues of mine at Alausa just confirmed that thugs just came to disrupt their peaceful protest. Please spread the word. Our right to peaceful protest will not be taken away. Why use violence against peaceful protestors?"

Also, comedian, Mr Macroni wrote "Imagine armed thugs being conveyed in a government-owned bus to injure and possibly kill peaceful protesters!!! The World must know that the lives of Nigerian youths are in great danger!!! "

Reekado Banks wrote "We will not relent! This moment will not be hijacked from us by thugs or political elements."

On his part, Vector said "Guys, in any dialect that you can speak, pass the message of what we are doing to the street thugs. A lot of them don’t know you are fighting for them. Start from your immediate neighborhood. Sanitize them on what we are doing. I sure say sars don give them self before."
