Eniola Badmus Speaks On Being Shot At Lekki Gunfire

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has dismissed reports that she was shot after soldiers opened gunfire at #EndSars protesters at Lekki tollgate, Lagos.

AllNews earlier reported that the protesters at the Lekki tollgate came under heavy gunfire, shortly after the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced a 24-hour curfew, due to perceived violence.

Several were injured as many fled for their lives upon the gunfire, after soldiers arrived at the protest ground around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 20.

Rumours later had it that the actress was shot during the gunfire.

However, refuting the claims. Badmus in a post on Instagram said she was hale and hearty, even though she was heartbroken by the incident.

Sharing a photo of herself, the actress wrote "Against all speculations about me being shot or dead at the unspeakable incident that happened at the toll gate few hours ago, I would like to inform you guys that I Eniola Badmus is hale and hearty. Infact, I couldn’t make it there today to lend my voice on the #endsars movement.

"But in truth, I am broken and scattered to see what my country has become. We are tired and it’s becoming one time too many, how is it wrong to demand for our right/ expectations and be killed at it. How?
