Enugu Guber: Court Adjourns Ruling As Nnaji Seeks To Replace

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned ruling on a suit challenging the election of Chijioke Edeoga as the Labour Party governorship candidate for Enugu State.

Edeoga’s name was submitted to INEC following his nomination as the candidate of the party in the forthcoming general election.

However, Captain Everest Nnaji approached the Court challenging the process of the Labour Party guber nomination.

Odengene is asking the court to either cancel the exercise which threw up Edeoga or pronounce him the candidate having satisfied the conditions for the party nomination.

Judgment which was earlier scheduled for today, November 2, 2022, was adjourned to Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
