Enugu Guber: Ekweremadu Presents Manifesto To Media

Former Deputy President of Nigerian Senate and Enugu State governorship aspirant Professori Ike Ekweremadu has presented his manifesto to the media.

Senator Ekweremadu during an interaction with the media in Enugu State opined that it is important for those vying for political offices to present their agenda for the people.

Ekweremadu used the medium to hint on some of his performances as Senator Representing Enugu West senatorial zone.

Ekweremadu noted that beyond Enugu West Senatorial zone he was able to attract developmental projects across all parts of Enugu state such as attraction of roads construction and other projects at Nome, Ehamufu and many others as well as in Ette, Obimo, Iheaka and Ovoko.

Ekweremadu noted that he will have more means to impact more on the lives of the people if given opportunity to serve the state.

On his agenda, he said, "We will run an open door governance, fight corruption, introduce an E- government to ensure that government is run 24hours.

"We will look forward to run a government that will see all people as equal before the law and reposition Enugu state judiciary.

"On local government, we have pledged not to interfere in local government fund. We are prepared to end water scarcity in Enugu state through maintenance of existing water sources and provision of dams. We will embark on rural and urban road construction.

Ekweremadu also announced Right Honourable Ogboh Asagwa, as the director Ikeoha campaign organization.
