Enzo Fernandez Will Get Better, Says Graham Potter

The manager of Chelsea, Graham Potter remains positive that new signing Enzo Fernandez will get better.

The Argentine starred in Chelsea's 1-1 draw against West Ham on Saturday.

It was his second start for the Blues since moving to the Bridge on deadline day.

Fernandez had an impressive game despite the draw as he provided an assist to help loanee João Felix register his first goal for the Blues in the Premier League.

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Potter said: "It is his second game, he is a young player but you can see his quality and his personality.

"And like [Joao] Felix, [Noni] Madueke and [Mykhailo] Mudryk he will get better.

"The more we understand them and the more they understand us; it is a process that you can’t really short circuit."

Chelsea remain in 9th position with 31 points having shared the spoils with West Ham.

This builds pressure on Potter whose team have dropped 14 points in the last seven top-flight matches
