EPL: Bruno's Brace Push Man Utd Past Everton, Cavani Scores

Manchester United came back from behind to win Everton at Goodison Park as Bruno Fernandes brace and assist sealed a 3-0 win for Ole Gunner Solskjaer on Saturday.

AllNews understands that Bruno's brace and assist to Cavani was instrumental to the win at Goodison Park as Everton took the lead in the first 20 mins of the match.

With the absence of Richarlison, Bernard was given the green light at the left flank and he repaid the confidence with a strike just before the first 20 minutes as Pickford clears a goal-kick.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin brought it down for Bernard with his head, he then ran at the United defense and bent a low ball into the bottom corner of the post, he left De Gea grasping for the ball on the ground as it rolled into the net.

It took United just 6 mins to respond as Luke Shaw whipped in a cross for Bruno Fernandes and the Portuguese powered in a header into the top right corner past Pickford.

In what became a quickfire double, Bruno whipped in another cross with Rashford trying to guide it home, his head missed it but the ball managed to bounce off the post into the net.

The match was almost equalized by Everton but it broke into an incisive counter-attack as Bruno Fernandes led the attack and dropped it for Cavani to finish off the match with his first strike.

The win should take some steam off Ole with several speculations that United might have contacted Pochetino as his possible replacement.

United climbs back to 13th with 10 points, Everton could see more drop-in position as other games are played to 10th.

The next stop for Everton is a trip to Fulham while United will face West Brom at Old Trafford.
