EPL: Conte To Undergo Surgery, To Miss Man City Game

Antonio Conte Loss

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that their manager, Antonio Conte, will be taking a leave of absence as he is scheduled to undergo emergency surgery on Wednesday.

The club announced the news in a brief statement on its official website. The former Chelsea manager was admitted to the hospital earlier this week after experiencing severe abdominal pain.

The medical examination revealed that Conte was suffering from cholecystitis, a condition that causes swelling and redness of the gallbladder.

Due to the serious nature of his condition, Conte will be undergoing surgery to remove his gallbladder today. The club has expressed their well wishes for the manager and has assured fans that he will be back on his feet soon after a period of recuperation.

Tottenham fans are undoubtedly concerned about the absence of their manager, but the club has promised that operations will continue as usual during Conte's leave. Everyone at the club wishes Antonio Conte a speedy recovery and looks forward to his return.

Tottenham's next game is against second-place Manchester City and it remains to be seen how the absence of the manager will impact the team's performance.

Regardless, the club and its fans will be rooting for Conte's quick recovery and a successful return to the sidelines.
