Tottenham Hotspur star, Dele Alli, has thanked everyone who sent a message of support to him following the knifepoint robbery he experienced at his home on Wednesday.
AllNews reports that according to Daily Mail, Alli was thumped in the face during the ordeal but did not suffer any serious injury.
Subsequently, the 24-year-old took to his verified Twitter handle to confirm everyone’s safety without divulging any further details.

The two attackers were said to have carted away jewellery, including watches from Alli's home.

Alli’s property has CCTV cameras installed and the footage has been passed onto the police, which has opened an investigation.
As a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the highly-rated midfielder is currently isolating with his brother, Harry Hickford, their two partners and a friend.
