EPL: Diogo Jota On Target As Liverpool Defeat West Ham To Top EPL Table

Liverpool goes back on top on the table past Everton after defeating West Ham United at Anfield.

AllNews understands that the win marks Liverpool's 63th unbeaten run  at Anfield (W52, D11).

West Ham opened up the scoring on the night as Fornals laid the ball off for Masuaku, as he delivered the ball into the box, Gomez cleared it with a header but into Fornals legs as he ran into the box and finish off the keeper with his side foot into the bottom corner.

Liverpool responded before the half time as Masuaku brought down Salah in the box for a penalty.

Salah powered his penalty into the middle sending Fabianski diving in vain.

Diogo Jota came to Liverpool's escape for the 4th time as the former Wolves man get into the box and got the ball from Shaqiri who used Sadio Mane's offside position as a dummy to get the ball and dropped it for Jota.

Jota buried it high into the roof of the net to give Liverpool a comeback at Anfield.

Liverpool now leads the EPL table with 16 points with Everton due to play on Sunday.
