EPL Golden Boot Holder, Jamie Vardy's Brace Lifts Leicester

Leicester cruised past West Brom in a second-half goal-filled match as Jamie Vardy scores a brace from two penalty kicks and Castagne hit a debut goal to win 3-0.

The match was goalless at the end of half time and it seems the newly-promoted side, West Brom, are going to earn at least a point against the Foxes not until Timothy Castagne, the debutant scored to give Leicester City a lead with 57 mins on the clock in the second half.

Barnes surged down the left flank, just as he was about to drop a pass for Vardy, he was pushed down by Bartley, advantage was played but the referee points to the spot for a penalty.

Jamie Vardy stepped up to take the kick and he slot it sending the keeper the wrong way to open his goalscoring account. It is 2-0 to the Foxes.

With 83 mins on the clock, Dara O'shea tripped Justin needlessly in the box, this time the referee did not hesitate to spot the Penalty.

Vardy stepped up again to take the penalty, lashes the shot into the same corner past Johnstone fingers to tighten a further grip on the win.

Leicester City gave West Brom an eye-opening welcome to the English Premier League with a 3-0 defeat on matchday 1.
