Leicester Striker and EPL Golden Boot winner, Jamie Vardy, 33, signed a new three-year deal to remain at the club till 2023. He becomes the 2nd player to commit a long term to the team with James Maddison signing a four-year deal a few days ago.
AllNews reports that since joining the foxes in 2012, He has scored 130 goals in 210 appearances.

During the 2019-20 season, he joined the Premier League 100 club ending the season on high with the EPL Golden boot at 33 years of age.
He has won the EPL trophy with Leicester City in 2015-16 season winning the FWA Footballer of the year and earning national call.

Vardy said about his new contract, "The journey that I’ve been on with this Football Club is hard to describe, and although we’ve accomplished so much together already, I know that I’ve got so much more to achieve with this team, so it’s a special feeling to be able to commit my future to Leicester City once again.
“I love playing my football in front of our fans at King Power Stadium and I’m delighted to continue this journey at such an exciting time for the Club. We have a fantastic team that I believe is capable of getting even better and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the next few years.”
