Julian Alvarez
Despite missing the injured Erling Haaland, City put on an emphatic performance to move to within five points of league leaders Arsenal.
The game started with Liverpool taking the lead through Mohamed Salah's 16th-minute strike, but City quickly equalized through Julian Alvarez, who tapped in a well-placed cut-back from Jack Grealish.

Even Haaland, who was sidelined due to injury, could be seen jubilating in the stands as his team equalized.
City then took control of the game, with Kevin De Bruyne scoring a classic Man City goal to put them ahead early in the second half.
Liverpool struggled to match City's ball movement, passes, and cuts-in, with Riyad Mahrez causing particular trouble for his marker, Robertson.
Gundogan and Grealish added two more goals to complete the rout, leaving Liverpool fans and even Jurgen Klopp looking frustrated on the sidelines.
The win takes City within touching distance of Arsenal at the top of the table, while Liverpool now find themselves in sixth place, with Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford hot on their heels.
