Liverpool secured a dramatic 4-3 victory against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday with a last-gasp winner from Diogo Jota, keeping their hopes of European qualification alive.
Liverpool took the lead in the third minute through Curtis Jones and Luis Diaz doubled their lead two minutes later with a volley.
Mohamed Salah made it 3-0 in the 15th minute by scoring a penalty.
Tottenham then started their comeback, with Harry Kane volleying past Alisson in the 39th minute before Son Heung-min hit the post just before halftime.
The second half saw Tottenham hit the post twice in quick succession before Son made it 3-2 in the 77th minute.
Richarlison's header in injury time looked to have sealed a point for Tottenham, but Jota scored in the dying seconds of the match after a mistake by Lucas Moura to give Liverpool the win.
Liverpool moved up to fifth in the table with 56 points from 33 games, while Tottenham remained on 54 points from 34 games in sixth place.
The Reds are now seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United who have played one game less.
The teams that finish fifth and sixth in the Premier League table are likely to qualify for the Europa League next season.
