EPL: Marcus Rashford Sends 'Classy' Message To Player Once Tipped For Manchester United Greatness

EPL: Marcus Rashford Sends 'Classy' Message To Player Once T

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has told free agent Ravel Morrison not to give up.

Morrison who was once tipped for Manchester United and English Premier League (EPL) greatness opened up this week in an enlightening chat with Rio Ferdinand about his career, mistakes, and talked about some instances where he felt he was unfairly treated.

Rashford tried to encourage Morrison, 28, telling him he could still have plenty more to give.

In the chat with Ferdinand, Morrison left viewers feeling sympathy for him, wondering about what might have been.

Rashford reached out to him on Tuesday, keen to point out that Morrison’s story is not over.

Taking to his verified Twitter page, Rashford - who added a red love heart emoji - stated: "Nobody in their 20s has failed at life, still so many more chapters to live @morrisonravel. Keep your head held high."

Morrison’s latest stint was with Dutch side ADO Den Haag. He had a spell with Sheffield United last season but failed to earn a regular spot in the side.

For Rashford, 23, he is experiencing a cool career.

He has now scored more Manchester United goals than Eric Cantona (83 in total).

Meanwhile, Rashford says 'under Jose Mourinho, Manchester United learned that 1-0 is the same as 6-4.'

Mourinho was Rashford's second football manager in the EPL star's senior career, having been handed his debut by now-retired Louis van Gaal.

Asked recently in what ways he thinks he is now a better player, Rashford told Sky Sports: “There are loads of different aspects - but my time under Jose was a massive learning period for me and I feel like I understood football in a different way to what I understood football before that.

"It was a tough time in my career, but they’re the moments that either make you or break you.

"His style of coaching might not have been perfect for me - but it definitely made me improve as a player and as a person as well."
