EPL: Super Sub Yarmolenko Dents Blues Hope In Top 4 Race

Chelsea were left fuming at the end of an entertaining 90 minutes of pulsating football when super-sub Andriy Yarmolenko scored a last gasp winner to give West Ham united an EPL survival hope at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Ukrainian was brought in for Jarrod Bowen in the 78th minute after the former was taken off. He had contributed 2 assists to Tomas Souchek and Michall Anthonio's goals.

It was an incisive counter-attack and Yarmolenko coolly slotted into the net to stun Chelsea.

AllNews reported the match as a game between survival instinct and UCL qualification race, it seems survival instinct trumped qualification race,

The result lifts David Moyes's side three points away from the relegation zone and placed  West Ham at 16th position with 30 points.

Frank Lampard team is also at risk of a 50-50 chance of getting the top 4 spots with two of these spots held by Liverpool and Manchester City. The remaining two spots are now being competed for between Chelsea, Leicester, Manchester United, Wolves, and barring a miracle, Arsenal too.

Chelsea were clinical with Williams penalty and free-kick but with the desire to survive by the Hammers ensured that Chelsea were beaten.
