Regarding the declaration, "Eterna Plc, a prominent integrated energy provider in the nation, has declared a significant achievement in the energy sector by becoming an authorised domestic distributor of Dangote Petroleum Refinery products in Nigeria."

This move highlights Eterna Plc's commitment to improving product supply by positioning it as a major distributor of Dangote domestic products in Nigeria. Eterna Plc has increased its trucking capacity in response to this strategic alliance by working with a third-party transportation company in addition to acquiring trucks.

Benjamin Nwaezeigwe, the managing director of Eterna Plc, expressed satisfaction with the appointment by saying, “We are proud to be appointed as an official distributor of Dangote refinery domestic sale in Nigeria. This partnership with Dangote Energy is a reflection of our commitment to providing Nigerians with world-class Energy solutions that meet their needs and expectations.”

On January 12, 2024, the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery commenced its operations subsequent to the receipt of six million barrels of crude oil in six phases. Diesel and aviation fuel are given priority in the first phase of production, with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) being the focus in later phases.

The corporation further solidifies its position in Nigeria's energy scene by overseeing a network of filling stations.
