Following a pattern of players removing sponsor's drinks from their front during a press conference, UEFA officials have been instructed to stop placing Heinkein drinks before Muslim players.

This is the wake of Manchester United star, Paul Pogba removal of the alcoholic drink during his press conference.

His reason was that Muslims do not take alcohols which are referred to as "Haram", the Frenchman proved true to his words as he left Cocoa Cola in front of him with the removal of just the Heineken drink.

It is only on the basis of the religion that UEFA has granted not placing sponsor's drinks before players.

The statement from UEFA on the issue is that players should defer from the removal of drinks as it serves as a form of paid advertisement for these brands.

Now, the European body has bent a little to honour players' religion and removed alcoholic drinks from before Muslim players only.

Compared to Cristiano Ronaldo's reason which was nutrition, the body has left the case for football federations to deal with.
