Ex-Deputy Speaker: Adamawa First Lady Condoles Mubi Emirate,

The First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, has condoled the Mubi Emirate and family of the ex-deputy Speaker of the state's House of Assembly, Late Aliyu Isa Ahmadu.

The First Lady visited the family after her husband, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri visited to sympathise with the bereaved family.

The late Ahmadu was the District Head of Mubi and former deputy Speaker to the then Speaker of the state's House of Assembly, governor Fintiri.

During the condolence visit on Friday at the deceased's family compound in Jimeta, Yola, the state's capital, Hajiya Fintiri described the death as a great loss to the Mubi Emirate, his family and the state at large.

This was contained in a statement on Friday by Ishaya Bitrus, media aide to the First Lady.

According to Bitrus, the First Lady urged the family and the Mubi Emirate to take solace in the Lord, describing death as inevitable for all mortals.

She prayed for the eternal repose of the soul of the Late Ahmadu, who died on Friday after a brief illness.

The Late Ahmadu died leaving behind an aged-mother, wife and children.

He was also the younger brother to the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Isa Ahmadu.
