Ex-Nigerian Midfielder Justice Christopher Dies At 40

Former Super Eagles midfielder Justice Christopher has died at the age of 40 in his hotel room in Jos Plateau.

The cause of death remains unknown.

Christopher enjoyed a 7- year career that span across spells at Sharks and Bendel Insurance before moving to Belgium, where he played for Royal Antwerp.

He also played in Bulgaria with Levski Sofia, Swedish side Trelleborgs FF, Alania Vadikavkaz in Russia and Herfolge BK in Denmark.

He made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2001 and was part of the Nigerian squad for World Cup 2022 in Korea.

After retirement from football in the 2006-07 season, he joined Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) Nasarawa United in 2012 till date.
