Expert Urges Governments To Support SMEs

Animasaun Luiz,  an economic expert, has called on governments at all levels to promote Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs).

He described them as catalysts for economic growth.

Luiz, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Food Partners made the call during the official opening of Chicken Royale at Ring Road in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday.

He pleaded that a substantial size of the annual budget should be devoted to the sector as a means of thinning down the populated labour market.

Luiz said, “Opening of the business outlet in Ibadan is part of the company vision of engaging the youths as well as encouraging indigent entrepreneurs.

He also promised that the outlet would offer a wide range of meals at reasonable prices.
