Erik Ten Hag
Erik ten Hag has said that Manchester United is hell-bent on defeating Brighton in Sunday's FA Cup semi-finals for a place in the final.
The Dutch coach reckons that the match is a "do or die" affair for the Red Devils having failed in the Europa League.
He believes that his players are up to the task but insists that they need to improve on their performances in order to clinch a second title this season.
"We're not where we want to be. We're United but below," Erik told BBC Sport in an exclusive interview.
"So we have to develop even more. We have to progress even more.
"And that's what we have to work very hard for and when you don't give 100% effort, you get hammered or killed."
When asked about his expectations in the FA Cup against Brighton, ten Hag added: "The cup is so great because it's do or die.
"I've got a good squad and we can solve everything.
"It's about the attitude and approach of the players, therefore I'm responsible.
"I've to make them ready together with my staff.
"We've to play with belief and that we've to beat them."
