Reacting to the replacement, Nengi who had celebrated her achievement of 2 million followers on Instagram earlier, had also tweeted a congratulatory message to Eradiri on her new position. She thanked the governor for finding a worthy replacement for her as she assures of the new title holder of her continual support for better welfare for the girl child.

The governor made the replacement on the 11th of January 2021 when he received Eradiri and her father, Boloupaye Eradiri, at the Government House, Yenagoa and gave her automatic employment to lecture at the NDU’s Faculty of Law.

Diri, who announced Eradiri as the New Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child, had said the gesture was aimed at making her a role model for young girls in the state and the entire Ijaw nation to emulate.
