A post on a Facebook group, N-power Lagos, had on Tuesday claimed that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria “revealed those set of Batch A and B beneficiaries who are qualified for the exit packages”.
The “Breaking” post ascribed the purported Farouq revelation to a “statement via the Twitter handle on Monday 5th April, 2021”.
The post has been shared over 150 times.
The blog, N-power Lagos, which is well-followed on Facebook, said: “According to the Minister, the people who are entitled to the federal Government Npower batch A and B exit packages are those who have successfully registered on the N-exit portal and have successfully input all his or her data.
”The minister disclose that any beneficiary who has successfully registered and input all his her details will have his or her status on the N-exit portal showing "pending"
”She said the reason for the "pending is because the ministry has not yet collected all the information belonging to such person for the next step which she said will commence soon.”
But AllNews verifies the authenticity of the post’s claim.
The last Twitter activity of both the verified accounts of Hajia Farouq and her ministry, was on Sunday April 4, 2021. And no mention was made of the famed N-Power scheme or its beneficiaries (Batch A, B or C).
