FACT CHECK: Have N-Power Batch C Recruitment Applicants Started Receiving Messages?

FACT CHECK: Have N-Power Batch C Recruitment Applicants Star

A message directing 'N-Agro beneficiaries' of N-Power, who applied for the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD's) PACE to check their email "immediately" is currently in circulation online, AllNews observed.

Some Nigerians have misconstrued this message to imply that those who applied for N-Power Batch C Recruitment are being onboarded.

No, that is not correct. Nobody is receiving any mail and no one is sending any mail to Batch C prospective beneficiaries presently.

FMARD PACE Agriculture for Food and Jobs Plan (AFJP), the Nigerian Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic aimed at increasing locally grown food supply and job creation, has been underway since at least May 2020, AllNews can confirm. It is different from N-Power batch C recruitment.

FMARD is utilising N-Agro Batch A and B beneficiaries to enumerate data, seed and fertilisers to about two million farmers in Nigeria.

N-Agro Batch A and B beneficiaries were asked to fill an online form earlier this year, and enumerators were subsequently selected.
