Famodun Knocks Osun PDP Over False Allegations

The Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Osun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of forming the habit of reeling out allegations against Governor Oyetola and his administration.

This is at it added that the latest was that the governor is diverting and mopping up local government funds.

The state APC chairman, Gboyega Famodun, in a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Kola Olabisi on Thursday, stated that it would have been news if it had not emanated from the PDP.

Famodun who hinted that the constant fabrication of stories against the government was becoming sickening reminded the PDP that Oyetola as sitting governor was responsible for his acts within the statutory tenure permitted within the constitution.

While warning that the Oyetola administration would resist anybody dictating the pace of operation to it, he cautioned the PDP that getting at Oyetola and his administration for vituperation cannot yield a fruitful venture.

"Governance is a serious business which transcends constant momentarily wriggling of a waist and jerking like a child who is suddenly infected with convulsion at the slightest hearing of any sound whether it is melodious or unlyrical.

"Unfolding events in the state have indicated that the PDP handlers lack the proper understanding about the workings of the government which is epitomized by their constant reeling out of frivolous allegations against the ever-focused administration of Governor Oyetola," he concluded.
