Fans Slam Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Over Old Comments On Lekki

Some old tweets about the Lekki Massacre by veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade have earned her knocks from Nigerians online after there were discovered on social media.

This is slightly contrary to the viral old tweets of the veteran actress and mother of four who urged families of the people who died at the Lekki Tollgate shootings if there were any to come out and speak.

She also in the tweet, admonished young people to stop sensationalizing the killings as it doesn’t remove the crime and would furthermore instigate chaos.


The 43-year-old actress during the Lekki Massacre trends wrote; "If people died during the Lekki Tollgate Assault, let their people speak out please and if there were no deaths then enough with the sensationalization because it does not remove from the Crime that happened. peaceful Protesters were attacked. Why? By Whom?"

Reacting to her old tweet on the Lekki Massacre, one online user,@MeccaUS wrote; "She wasn't on any fence. Her role was deliberate. The government used her & other influences to spread doubt& cover up it worked on some. Those questions she posted were repeated clockwork all over the BMC world. Omotola&Co were doing LASG'S bidding at that juncture."

@Usmanashafe_official shared; "Good morning Omotola Jalade @Realomosexy, this are d names of viticms of Lekki massacre during #EndSARS I recall you're one of those that said it's a lie, that nobody died. People lost their lives, people got injured and some got missing. YOUR CONSCIENCE WILL JUDGE YOU."
