F9: The Fast Saga director Justin Lin has talked about the possibility of bringing back Paul Walker's character for the tenth film in the franchise, and fans aren't quite pleased with it.

Since it premiered in theaters on May 19, 2021, the latest movie in the vehicular franchise has soared at the box office, making $400 million in worldwide gross as of June 27, 2021.

Paul Walker, the protagonist of the films sadly passed away in November 2013 while filming was still underway for Furious 7 (2015). His character had to be 'resurrected' with the help of his brothers and some major CGI work.

Now, Justin Lin is munching over the idea of returning the late star for the next chapter in the Fast & Furious films, an idea fans don't like at all.

Per a Screenrant report, the filmmaker stated in an interview that the prospect of returning Walker's Brian O'Connor's character is something he has been thinking about every day, especially now that the beloved franchise is nearing its conclusion.

"Obviously, Paul and his character Brian are the soul and heart of how we've moved forward. Bringing him back is something I think about every day. As we near the end of the franchise, it's a conversation I'm having. I think about this possibility every day", he said.

Reacting to the news on Twitter, fans expressed their disapproval, telling Lin not to go ahead with the idea. See their tweets below:
