'Fast & Furious': Why Vin Diesel Doesn't Want To Say Farewell To Blockbuster Franchise

'Fast & Furious': Why Vin Diesel Doesn't Want To Say Farewel

Hollywood action star Vin Diesel is still relishing the fame and thrills that come with playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise and is not keen on letting go yet.

The beefy actor who returns in Fast X alongside John Cena and Jason Momoa has portrayed the patriarch of the Toretto family for 20 years over the course of 10 films.

In a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight, Diesel got candid about becoming emotional when he told his daughter about the franchise ending.

“The last time I told my daughter [it] was the last one, all I saw was tears. So I gotta be really careful [about] who and what I say”, he dished.

Diesel also heaped praise on his cast members, revealing how they ensured the environment was the right one for them to work.

“We have such a great cast. We lead with love. We try to create an environment where people can do their best work.

“That’s all actors really want, is to feel as though they’re supported to create unique characters.

“Characters that last forever, and you see that in this franchise”, he added.

Fast X sees Dominic Toretto and the rest of the team face off against their most daring and scary adversary, Dante (Momoa), the son of Hernan Reyes, who is out to get his pound of flesh.

The movie was released on May 19, 2023, and is now playing in cinemas worldwide.
