Nollywood blockbuster movie "Fate Of Alakada: The Party Planner" will be hitting cinemas in Nigeria starting from October 1.
The announcement was made by the producer and top-notch actress Toyin Abraham, in an Instagram post.
The movie, which makes its fourth production in the popular ‘Alakada’ series, features stars like Davido, Mercy Lambo (BBNaija winner) Mabel Makun, Swanky Jerry, Stephanie Coker, among others.
The plot of the popular Alakada series follows the story of Yetunde Animashaun, a young girl from poor family background.
She engages in making up stories and lying about her financial and social status in order to “fit into with the crowd”.
AllNews reports that the movie was initially scheduled to hit cinemas on April 10, 2020, but was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
